The Transformers Cinematic Universe is a series of American sci-fi/action films based around toys created by Hasbro. The series first began with five films directed by Michael Bay; however, after the release and success of Bumblebee, those five films were brought out of continuity, with Bumblebee rebooting the series.
Outside of the films, a series of tie-in comics also exists.
